According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Dehghani added: "I believe in science" during the visit of Vong Dinh Hoe, Speaker of the Vietnamese Parliament, to Iran's Technology and Innovation House on Wednesday evening. And technology is the most value-creating and highest field and axis where countries can cooperate with each other and develop closeness between nations. Accordingly, we will pursue serious technological cooperation between Iran and Vietnam in the form of a joint committee.

The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy considered the formation of this joint cooperation committee as a basis for defining strategic and executive issues for technological and knowledge-based cooperation and added: if we have a few specific issues and axes, we can continue the cooperation in a more extensive and serious way.

Referring to Vietnam's extensive technological capacities, Dehghani said: "This country has paid serious attention to the optimal use of resources, technology and innovation, and technological issues can be one of the axes to start good cooperation between Iran and Vietnam."

The head of the National Elites Foundation stated that the scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries can be the basis for greater affinities and commonalities between the two countries, and said: One of the fields that we pay serious attention to is the creative and soft industry. Production of creative products, from animation, artwork to games and entertainment, is one of Iran's capabilities, and we believe that the two countries can cooperate in this field; Also, due to the need to pay attention to people's culture, especially children and teenagers, we can have good cooperation in the field of education to develop creative products for children's education.

Dehghani stated that there are 70 large and small science and technology parks operating in Iran, and the experience of these parks can be a good model for the development of technology and cooperation between the two countries, and continued: Considering Iran's capabilities in the industrial field, one of the serious cooperation between the two countries is possible. It can be in the field of industrial cooperation and productions with different focus and topics.

He mentioned the capability of the two countries in the field of digital economy and the products of this field as another axis of joint cooperation and added: In addition to the successful startups of the digital economy, including messengers, fintechs, artificial intelligence, and financial technology, various types of communication antennas are used. We have the third and fourth generation and we are on the way to produce fifth generation internet antennas. Considering the significant share of digital products in Vietnam's economy, we are ready to use the experiences of this country and have mutual cooperation. Since the digital products made in Vietnam are known as quality products, I hope that this cooperation in the field of digital products will be formed seriously.

Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, listed the field of medicine, treatment and health as one of the other capabilities of our country and said: Iran supplies 98% of the country's pharmaceutical needs in the field of pharmaceutical equipment and products. The production of various vaccines, including four independent vaccine platforms for Corona, is one of these achievements, and we want to have cooperation and joint investment in the form of knowledge-based, technology-based companies.

Dehghani continued: Iran has also made good progress in the field of aerospace, and in addition, it has good capacities in the field of electronics and microelectronics, and since Vietnam is also considered a capable country in the field of microelectronics, we can have good cooperation in the development of products. Smart agriculture such as resource monitoring and management; I hope that with this serious determination between the two sides, extensive and constructive cooperation centered on the joint big companies will begin in the two countries.

Iran's experiences and capacities in the field of technology

Vong Dinh Hoe, Speaker for the Parliament of Vietnam, in a meeting and conversation with the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, referring to the scientific and technological capacities of Iran, called for strengthening cooperation in this field between the two countries and stated: "The two countries have good capacity in different fields." including technology transfer in the fields of nanotechnology, aerospace, innovation and agriculture.

He added: "Vietnam's people and government value Iran's science and technology and technological advances, and today we got to know this ability closely by visiting the exhibition of Iran's technological achievements."

Stating that science and technology is one of the areas that can be the focus of cooperation between the two sides, the Chairman of the Vietnamese Parliament said: Creating a joint innovation center with the definition of technological projects can be the basis for technological cooperation between the two countries.

Dean Hoe stated: We can continue the joint cooperation between Iran and Vietnam in the form of the Joint Commission on Cooperation between Iran and Vietnam, the head of which is the Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade of Iran.

He added: We also invite the vice president of science and technology to get acquainted with the scientific and technological capacities of our country during a trip to Vietnam and to conclude cooperation agreements. Vietnam intends to take fundamental steps for the development of the country in the field of science and technology and digital economy.

In this meeting, Mirabadi, the head of the Center for International Interactions of Science and Technology, also pointed to the capacities of joint technological cooperation between Iran and Vietnam and said: We are opening a special capacity for cooperation between Iran and Vietnam and we hope that in the near future the framework of cooperation will be established between Iran and Vietnam.
